Friends of TAS Music

Friends of TAS Music is an enthusiastic group of parents who have supported music excellence at Trinity Anglican School since 1997.

Working closely with the TAS Music Department, Friends of TAS Music provides assistance and fundraising opportunities for the TAS music programmes at both the White Rock and Marlin Coast Campuses.

Last year Friends of TAS Music held a variety of successful fundraising and promotional events as well as receiving council support for the new keyboard lab. Funds raised helped purchase new instruments and further widen the music curriculum for the benefit of all TAS students.

Through its efforts, Friends of TAS Music helps promote diverse and enjoyable music programmes for all students. Friends of TAS Music activities include:

• Fundraising within the school and the community
• Assisting with the organisation of musical events
• Helping fund music camps and tours
• Purchase of instruments, sound equipment and scores.
• Maintenance and operation of the TAS Music trailer for transporting instruments.
