Marlin Coast Campus

The Marlin Coast Campus is the site of the Junior School at the Northern Beaches. The modern, air-conditioned buildings are situated at Kewarra Beach. The Tung Yep Library which was opened in 2002 is the centre of learning on the campus. The beautiful tropical surroundings provide a safe and stimulating environment for our students who are encouraged to become lifelong learners.

There are approximately 300 students at the Marlin Coast Campus, organised into 15 co-educational classes. There are two classes at each Year level from Preparatory to Year Seven, with the exception of Year One, which has only one class. All children have a Library session each week and attend specialist lessons for Music, Art, Physical Education and Japanese.

History MCC

From the earliest years, a thorough foundation in literacy and numeracy is a central focus of classroom activities. Inquiry, critical and reflective thinking skills are continually developing through learning activities designed to lead children along a pathway towards higher order thinking and reasoning abilities. Collaborative learning approaches seek to build teamwork and relationships.

Pastoral care work and co-curricular activities in areas such as art, music, sport and outdoor education combine to provide a broad, balanced education
