Kurt Hahn, was a remarkable educator, and founded the Salem school in Germany, Gordonstoun School in Scotland, Outward Bound, the Duke of Edinburgh Award and United World Colleges. His aim was to develop young people whose convictions would be rooted in personal responsibility, kindness and justice. The central goal of Hahn's philosophy was that schools should not simply "prepare" students for tertiary study or work but should also prepare them for life directly, in ways that would demand courage, generosity, imagination, principle and resolution.

Trinity Anglican School has been an Associate Member of Round Square for three years, and became a full Member in 2004. During that time we have had many student exchanges with schools in South Africa, Switzerland, Scotland, Canada, Oman and India. Our School and students have been enriched by this participation. |
